BUSY WITH HARD LUNGES

Well that was a busy week. I really worked hard on Tuesday & wow unbelievable. We did the circuit on machines and freeweights also ab and leg stuff (lunges with a medicine ball and stuff like that). Hard. It looks stupid, but you can really feel it the next day. It also helps with balance. I need that. I'm unbalanced. Ha! Get it?!

Speaking of funny, here's one:
What do you call O.J., David Koresh and Jeffrey Dahmer in a jail cell together?
A well balanced breakfast: Juice, toast and cereal.

Feel free to use it. Have a great week!

THE CHEST PRESS

Dear Workout Journal, well it's been a busy week!

Thursday I headed back in and did the whole workout routine. I even remembered my shoes this time! They didn't help, it was still hard. I did the chest press (no jokes), the tricep thing, the lunges with a medicine ball, crunches and this glute thing where you lay on your back with one leg extended and you raise up as high as you can. Hard! Pure agony. I think it's supposed to make your butt smaller, so I'll continue with that one. Anyhow, I'm off to walk ...

BAREFOOT IN THE WEIGHT ROOM

Going in to see Aaron this morning. I forgot my shoes at home, so I don't know what we'll do. You're supposed to be barefoot when you do pilates but, not weights. Oh well. Maybe there's some 6 foot 5 inch guy who will let me borrow his. Have a good one!

MY BIG BUTT

Hey!!! Hope all is well. Still working on the big butt. It's hard work!

Speaking of butts, I'd like to kick some around here. Aaron is wonderful, but he has his work cut out for him with me. I wonder if I'm his worst client? I'll ask him. Nah, on second thought, I don't want to know. Oh well, have a good Weekend!

SHOULDERS!!!

One thing I have to mention is how in Pilates and in weightlifting, they always tell you to check your shoulders. They should almost always be down. When you sit in a chair at work sit up straight and keep your shoulders down, that's supposed to give you confidence.

So far it hasn't worked. Try that though. Everytime I think about my shoulders, I realize I have them up. When you put them down, it seems to relax you. There's a little tip from me to you.

Later,

Terri
